Compared with rigid ureterorenoscope, the distal tip of flexible video ureterorenoscope (abbr.fURS) can bend with maximal maneuverability. During surgery, after the tip entering the renal pelvis or renal calyces, its deflection and rotation can be easily realized by controlling the angle handle and rotation ring to find the stones precisely. The holmium laser fiber can work through the instrument channel of the fURS to fragment the stone. The insertion tube enters from natural orifice of human body, with minimally invasive, less painful to patient, and low risk in surgery. It is more suitable for the treatment of relatively small stones in the kidney or upper ureter, alo an ideal surgical tool for urology.
